About

Few words on my musical background

Stefano Tallini is a media composer from Italy.
In his early years as a musician, he studied acoustic and electric guitar and graduated in Conservatory as a guitarist. He wrote music in the bands he played with (Halesia, Peel Slowly and See, Bells in Autumn), recorded an LP (Bells in Autumn, 2016) and played live in several contexts.

In parallel with music he always nurtured a strong interest in cinema, photography and visual arts in general, so he decided to start studying film scoring with italian composer Andrea Grant (Dakota, The Letter, Graybeard).
In 2022 he joined two Hollywood Music Workshops summer courses (Orchestral mockup production with Oscar Senén and Writing for TV drama/series with John Lunn).

He wrote music for short films (Il Piccolo Mago, Morpheo the Blue Line, Andrea and many others) theathre works (Otello, 2019), commercials (Regensight, 2021) and movie trailers (La Cena Perfetta,  2022).
In July 2022 he won the first prize in the international film scoring festival Apulia Sountrack Awards

In 2023 and 2024 works on a full production music album, released by Soundiva, and collaborates with american music label Howling music.
In the meantime, he works as a composer on new upcoming short films (Cocco di mamma, 120 mm).
